trying to figure out FAETOOL, will buy license.

BP
Hello Support,

good afternoon, i am curious about FAETool,  i had some experience with 2D PDE Modeler in Matlab a while a go. now i would like to use the FAETool and do the following:

Questions:
import a STP or STL File

Question Electrostatic with Temperature
apply a voltage on oneside of this thin wire and zero voltage on the other
i would like to see the Thermal effects in this wire ( or thermal effect of heating)

Time Measurement:

can it also calculate the time when the heat becomes higher than the material property?

could you help me in setting this up? would be great if it would reduce the work i have to do. I discovered that elmer does Heat and Current, and it looks like its a bit harder to setup in Freecad,

i would greatly appreciate if you can point me in the right direction.

we will obtain FAETOOL if you can help us.

Best regards

Bastiaan

Hi Bastiaan, you probably could take a look at the linked tutorials below:

furthermore time dependent heat transfer analysis is performed in this model tutorial
