adaptive time step

Can Featool use adaptive time step during simulations? I found for some models large fixed time step will cause numerical oscillations but small fixed time step will significantly increase the simulation time. If adaptive time step can be used, as in other reactive-transport modeling platform, it may significantly improve the efficiency?

Currently only the OpenFOAM CFD solver include support for variable and adaptive time stepping. It is of course a nice feature, and it hopefully will be possible to include with other solvers in the future.
