Technical Issues

Before submitting a technical issue with the software or bug report, please first ensure you have the latest version and build of the toolbox(select About FEATool/CFDTool from the Help menu to find your current version and compare with the latest releases as announced in the News topic. Please, also have a look at the User's Guide and Documentation, Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ), and Technical Articles.

In order to get better help, please include as much information as possible with all issue reports, such as:
  • Steps to reproduce the error
  • Error and warning messages
  • Model (.fea) files and/or (.fes/.m) scripts
  • Toolbox version and build number
  • Configuration (Select "System Info..." from the "Help" menu)
  • Other relevant information
Issues from licensed users, and users which have answered forum questions and/or submitted showcase and model examples will be prioritized for developer support.
