Post -->Post Options -->Slice Positions not persistent

randress
When I specify only a single cut plane for post processing and display it:

... and then I change to Grid mode:

... and then switch immediately back to Post mode, the selection of "Slice positions" (for those planes that I had set empty - no plane) are re-populated with 0.5 and re-displayed accordingly:

My guess is that this is not intended. Right? Or wrong?

Kind regards,
Randal

This was an inconsistentcy using default values if a slice position is empty. It should be correct in the latest update.

Yes, it is.  Thank you again for 1.12.2!!

And, in addition for me there was a performance boost. Here's what I suspect was happening:

I would specify slice positions as: [] [] 0.5 and plot. Then leave Post. On return to Post, the display/plot would update to a the default plot spec (0.5 0.5 0.5) which, for me on my machine, took a few seconds. This no longer happens! When I return to Post the plot last plotted (the one I specified) is displayed quickly.

BTW, I also had observed a similar lack of persistence/sync between the Grid size on the main Grid window and that in the Settings dialog, but in 1.12.2, I can no longer reproduce it.  :-)   :-)

One more thing ... it seems that the default is now 0.7 0.5 0.5 ... any reason?

Kind regards,
Randal

The default slice positions are calculated as "0.5*(x/y/z_max-x/y/z_min)" with respect the current geometry dimensions.
