Registered license not recognized after reinstalling network adapters

This post was updated on .
Today on starting FEATool the splash screen appeared.

I took the "Accept" path but was halted later when I attempted to execute a command that required a license...hmmm

I restarted FEATool a second time and selected "License", entered my registration token and got:

Have I been a bad boy?

:-)

PS  I had to reinstall my network adapter drivers.  Could this have done me in?

Registration tokens are used to generate a license file for a specific user and system, and will only work one time each.

The following issues can interfere with validation of an existing license:

- Changing system configuration
- Changing user name/path
- Moving/deleting/renaming user directory
- Moving/deleting/renaming app directory with "license.dat" file (shown as "User Path" when selecting "System Info..." from the "Help" menu in the FEATool GUI)

Thanks for the reply.

I am still not sure what could be the problem.

License file seems to be located as expected at "User Path":

Is reinstalling network drivers considered "Changing system configuration"?

Kind regards,

Yes it is, hence I sent you a private message with a new registration token. Please check your email to see that you received it.

I have been checking my email but nothing yet.

By the way,  even though I had checked the "Alert me by email ..." box, I did not receive an email when you posted your original response nor when I posted mine.

How can we verify the email address?
