License Activation Error

emefff
Hello,

just tried to activate my license, got an Activation error IER = 25 as answer. My OS is Ubuntu 24.04, I installed the trial version first and tried to activate it. I assume, that does not matter?

Thanks,

emefff.

Re: License Activation Error

This post was updated on .
I entered my license key under System Info -> License Key.

This seems to have worked, my key is now shown in the System Info.

Window header still shows 'FEATool Trial' after restart.

I have no idea, if it's correctly registered, I assume not, because I am still getting the 'Please consider upgrading... ' message upon exiting. Also, 'About' shows me it is still the trial version.

My firewall was deactivated, also the VPN, to no other effect.

What could be wrong?

Thanks,

emefff.

Unfortunately, this is unlikely to work, as you have a license activation token which is used by the activation server to generate a license key for your unique system. It is not quite clear why it has not worked for you.

Licensing matters and issues are better handled privately, as license keys and such are better not shared publicly. Could you get in touch via the contact form https://featool.com/about/#contact, select "Licensing Issue" in the drop down box, and submit your "System Information" (from the "Help" menu) for further troubleshooting (this information is the minimum required to be able to identify your registration attempts in the server logs).

Sorry for the inconvenience.
