Consider turbulent flow

Hi,
I am trying to consider the turbulent flow, but it says that only the Turbulence Model names Algebraic (mixing length model) has built-in solvers. The result (the contour map of velocity field) I got from using the Algebraic (mixing length model) is almost the same as when I used the model of laminar flow. Other Turbulence Models such as Spalart-Allmaras, k-epsilon, and k-omega need the external OpenFOAM or SU2 CFD solvers, as it said. So what should I do to consider the turbulent flow in FEATool Multiphysics?

Other Turbulence Models such as Spalart-Allmaras, k-epsilon, and k-omega need the external OpenFOAM or SU2 CFD solvers, as it said. So what should I do to consider the turbulent flow in FEATool Multiphysics?
In "Solve" mode you can press the "OpenFOAM" and "SU2" buttons to use these solvers instead of the built-in multiphysics solver (which is called with the "=" button). SU2 is included with the FEATool software distribution, but if you want to use OpenFOAM you have to install it separately according to your os and system.

Thank you for your reply! In the case of turbulent flow, what should I set the u0 (inlet velocity) to be in the "Boundary" part? Since I cannot use the expression of the laminar flow for u0 in this case.

And also, I just download the pre-compiled (MinGW) native Windows OpenFOAM, which is suitable for Microsoft Windows system. However, when I try to use OpenFoam to solve, it still says that I need to download OpenFoam. So how can I use the OpenFoam I already download? (I download the OpenFoam based on the instruction of featool.com website)

To be able to help you better, please report your "System Information" from the "Help" menu. And also report the directory and contents of where OpenFOAM was installed, for example the default location should typically be:

    C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\ESI-OpenCFD\OpenFOAM\v2112

If possible please also report the path and directory on your system where OpenFOAM was installed.

The OpenFOAM is in my computer's Download.
Does its location affect anything?

It seems like you have only downloaded the OpenFOAM installer. You need to actually run the installer to install the OpenFOAM software components on your system, otherwise FEATool can not find any OpenFOAM (or other) software components.

Try to double click on the installer to run it, it should then start the OpenFOAM installation process. It will ask you where to install OpenFOAM, and you should install it in the default suggested location. FEATool will look for and assume OpenFOAM has been installed in a subfolder in the default location, which for Windows systems would be something like:

    C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\ESI-OpenCFD\OpenFOAM\v2###

Thank you for your response.
I follow your instructions and I can use OpenFOAM in my FEATool now.
However, when I hit the "Solve" button in OpenFOAM, a notification pops up saying that msmpi.dll is not found.
So how can I find the right version of msmpi.dll to download and use OpenFOAM properly?
